We chose Progetto and they were absolutely fantastic. It took the stress out of the whole build. Nick and his team were very polite, efficient and worked in all weathers. The job was completed in good time and to a very high standard. They were also very understanding about making sure life could go on for us during the build and kept a makeshift kitchen on the go for the vast majority of the build.

"We recently engaged with Progetto builders to carry out full refurbishment of a three bedroom house in Beckenham, including kitchen and bathroom fit out and major structural alterations. We found Nick and his team to be very professional, courteous and pleasant to have in the house. We were impressed by the honesty and integrity of Nick and his team. Tasks were always carried out when promised and if certain jobs needed to be prioritised over others, they were able to accommodate. We agreed a fixed price contract for the work and Nick provided a very detailed document setting out what works were to be carried out. Where extra tasks were required, we agreed these in writing ahead of schedule and there were no costly "surprises" along the way!

Of particular note, we were very impressed with how Nick dealt with the Bromley council building control when we had problems with the structural engineer. We engaged with a structural engineer as we were removing the wall between our kitchen and dining room. The engineer suggested an impractical and expensive (and unnecessary) solution to support the unusual wall structure above the kitchen/diner wall which was outside of our budget for the structural work. Nick challenged this solution and was able to negotiate with building control to reach a more sensible pragmatic result (fully supported by the council). Nick often provided practical solutions to problems along the way (pertaining to the house & its structure) and was happy to come back and remedy small issues (snagging) at the completion of the job.
We are going to continue to use Nick and his team for future renovation and extension projects."

"Nick McAdam and his team constructed a rear extension on our property in the spring and summer of 2012. We found Nick to be extremely hard working and great to deal with and we were delighted with the end result. Progetto were one of a number of companies we spoke to about taking on the build of our loft conversion. We did a lot of research and viewed all the prospective company's ongoing and completed conversions in the area, after which we had no doubt that Progetto was the company we wanted to complete our build.
Like everyone we wanted to maximise the space we had, so a great amount of thought was put into how we could use every inch of the area to achieve the largest bedroom/ensuite possible. With Nic's knowledge, experience and real ability to listen to our ideas he achieved everything with great success and we've ended up with a wonderful bespoke space which we love being in.
Since completing our build, Progetto have gone one step further in offering an Architectural Design service which can only be a great asset.
